1987 - Another Bill Aken - Steve Eaton collaboration, and one of my favorites. Over the course of years I had played this song for many record labels but none of them grasped the mood or meaning of it. There was just no interest.... So Steve and I got together and recorded a new version of it in 1987... and finally got a record release on it... WE ALL LIVE JUST A LITTLE BIT IN "The Spaces In Between." And that is why I included it in the new album.... If Mother had been alive I would have had her help me do a Spanish language version...
